My name Todd Somers,
I own Dragons Martial Arts In Salem,IN. I have competed in
several alliance tournaments thru
the years.
I can honestly say,
that they are the best well
organized events I have been to.
The alliance has
always had a family & team attitude
with all the schools, that are apart
of it. I've made lots of friends
over the years thru Alliance.
One of the people I've enjoy
talking to you every time I see him
, is Grandmaster Black. He has
always encouraged me with my school
and the growing pains that come with
a
new martial arts school.
All I can say about
Alliance is....if your not a member
, you and your school should join!!
I've been apart of many other
organizations and they don't even
come close to matching up!
Everything they do is always 1st
class!!
Dr. Jim Thomas is a
wonderful president of Alliance.
He isn't one of these guys you can
never get a hold of, He has always
been their to answer any question
that I have had. about tournaments,
events, the hall of fame, etc.
Dr. Jim Thomas
inducted me into the
USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame
in April of 08 and I will be
inducted again in April 4th, 09'. It
is the greatest honor for that to
happen to me, Hall of fame is a
night that Jim Thomas, recognizes
the work and dedication.. a lot of
Martial Artist go through to keep
their schools open and the
sacrifices that are made to your
health, financial & sometimes your
personal life.
Alliance and Dr. Jim
Thomas is the best thing going on in
martial arts today!! It's a true
honor to know him and be apart of
this great organization!
